Mission Self Reliance – An inspiring initiative towards a step towards self-reliance

In today’s changing times, employment is not just a necessity but a symbol of respect and self-confidence. A society where people use their skills to transform their own lives and the lives of others is truly developed.

With this vision and purpose, the Ayush Shiksha Samiti began its journey in 2004—a journey toward employment, self-reliance, and empowerment.

The primary objective of the Ayush Shiksha Samiti is to ensure access to skill development for every segment of society.

The ASS “Mission Self-Reliant” is based on this vision:

“Every individual should be taught skills that will enable them to not only find employment but also create employment opportunities for others.”

The ASS believes that a society that provides employment, not just seeks employment, is the true identity of a self-reliant India.

Mushroom Cultivation – An excellent employment opportunity in rural areas

Mushroom cultivation training has been the committee’s most successful effort to empower rural youth and women with self-reliance.

This training covers the entire process of preparing mushroom seeds, planting them as a crop, watering them on time, caring for them, harvesting them, packaging them, selling them in the market, and connecting with buyers.

In addition, trainees are also taught the technique of drying mushrooms using a machine and preserving them for a long time, enabling them to earn more profit from dried mushrooms.

Today, thousands of women and youth are not only increasing their incomes but also providing employment to others through mushroom cultivation.

Beauty and Wellness – A Combination of Confidence and Career

The Ayush Shiksha Samiti understands that the beauty and wellness industry is one of the fastest-growing industries today.

The ASS is empowering women economically by providing training in this field.

The training includes training in beauty parlor work, hair cutting, facials, skin treatments, makeup artistry, nail art, and wellness techniques.

The ASS provides trainees with accredited certificates so they can open their own parlour or find work in a reputable salon.

This course has brought new light into the lives of hundreds of women—today they are self-reliant, taking responsibility for their families, and have become an inspiration to others in society.

Health care training

The AYUSH Shiksha Samiti has also played a significant role in the healthcare sector.

The ASS offers courses such as General Duty Assistant (GDA) and phlebotomy (blood sample collection).

These courses teach trainees the skills necessary to work in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers, such as

Patient Care

Measuring Blood Pressure and Temperature

Taking Blood Samples

Maintaining Medical Records

First Aid

After training, the ASS also ensures job placement for trainees so they can find immediate employment.

Trainees enrolled in these courses are not only finding jobs but also contributing to social service.

Sewing and embroidery training

Another important training program offered by the committee for women is sewing and embroidery.

In this training, women are taught the entire process, from traditional to modern designing.

The ASS provides sewing machines to trainees so that they can start their own work at home after the training.

Upon completion of the training, the ASS also provides them with accredited certificates and assists them in finding work in local institutions, boutiques, and workshops.

In this way, hundreds of women are using their skills to supplement their family income and lead self-reliant lives.

Computer and Digital Training

In this digital age, no field is complete without computer knowledge.

With this in mind, the Ayush Shiksha Samiti has undertaken extensive work in the field of computer training.

The following courses are offered to trainees here:

  • DCA (Diploma in Computer Application)

  • ADCA (Advanced Diploma in Computer Application)

  • PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application)

  • Typing Courses (Hindi & English)

  • Multimedia Courses

  • Camera Handling, Indoor & Outdoor Shooting

During the training, students are given the opportunity to work on real-world projects.

The ASS also arranges job placements for post-training students based on available vacancies in the government and private sectors.

Many young people have now established themselves as computer operators, designers, photographers, video editors, and digital creators.

Accredited certifications and job placement assistance

After each course, the ASS provides trainees with a recognized certificate, which helps them find employment.

After receiving the certificate, the ASS prepares trainees for job interviews, teaches them how to create resumes, and arranges job placements based on available vacancies.

In this way, the ASS remains connected with its students even after the training so that they can take advantage of every employment opportunity.

The work of the Ayush Shiksha Samiti is not limited to training; it has also become a vehicle for social change.

Today, those who have received training here have become inspirations in their villages and communities.

Many women who previously hadn’t ventured outside their homes are now running their own businesses.

Many young people who were job seekers have now become job providers in their areas.

From 2004 till now, the Ayush Shiksha Samiti has trained thousands of youth and women in various skills and made them self-reliant.

Today, the Ayush Shiksha Samiti is not just an organization but has become a vehicle for making thousands of dreams come true.

This is the same organization that tells every person—

“Believe in your skills, be self-reliant, and empower others too.”
